The Sixth Form College in Farnborough have purchased the new Fixed Asset module for Opera II, through Pegasus Strategic Partner Intsys UK Ltd, based in London.

The College has been using Pegasus solutions for 10 years, and with the recent availability of Fixed Assets for Opera II, the College was keen to adopt the module as quickly as possible to reap the benefits.

Alison Lock, Finance Manager, explains " We are delighted that Fixed Assets for Opera II is now available, it will make our lives a lot easier! Having the whole integrated financial suite means that we will no longer have two different systems to maintain, which will reduce the time required by the IT department to run two systems; for instance, we no longer require two different printers!"

Alison continues, "It also allows us to run management reports in Pegasus XRL, which is a brilliant reporting tool. This brings us greater efficiencies and accuracy with our reporting. Also, the back-to-back link with Purchase Ledger, POP and PIR which enables us to add new assets automatically when posting to Purchase Invoice and the real-time Nominal, will save us time, increasing our efficiency and accuracy.

It will be so much easier to have just one system to maintain, that is now wholly integrated, and we can get clear management reports out quickly and easily. We are looking forward to working with this module and can already see how the College will benefit."
